Describe in detail your make-up & costume needs.
(Include reference material to illustrate your needs)
Costume would be nice for the cover to add interest
but MUST be along the lines of the colour scheme (black or blue)
Otherwise wear normal teaching clothes, preferably
with no visible brands, pictures or designs on them, and simple clothes like a
vest and joggers. Preferably black to look sophisticated and professional and
to go with any desirable colour to be used on the cover, or perhaps blue to
match the intended colours for the cover and enforce male connotations.
Studio shoots: what kind of lighting?
(include reference material to illustrate your needs)
I will be using
broad lighting because it will show the subject in a positive light which is
desirable in the context of my article, and also because it makes the image
look more dramatic and striking, as well as sometimes enhancing the dancer’s
lines, (as you can see in the pictures) instead of the simple Butterfly
lighting.

Backdrop:
Will either have
a white, clear, background so that the subject stands out, and picture looks
professional. Or perhaps a blue background with male connotations that will
match the cover’s colour scheme.
Lighting equipment needs:
Key light, reflector
